This video for the Focus T25 program is all about working your abs. The only equipment item that you will need for this video is a yoga mat. You’ll start your warm up with some yoga moves to get your whole body stretched out. You will then get right into low planks, side planks, and some “V” sit holds. Even though only 5:00 minutes have past you will be starting to feel the burn.
After that to give your abs a little break Shaun T takes you down on the ground with some leg stretches. These will feel great considering the hard core full body exercise you did yesterday. Around the 17:30 mid-point you’ll be doing shuffles to get your heart rate back up. Then you get to lay back down for some intense scissor exercises. 3:00 minutes later you will be doing some hop hop squats. Shaun T wants to make sure that you still break a sweat, so these little burst of cardio will be reoccurring.
Once you have finished your cardio burst you get right back into your Ab exercises with more “V” sit holds. With 11:30 minutes left you do another cardio burst and again different “V” sit holds. Like I mentioned before get ready for the random burst of cardio Shaun T adds into the video. While doing these cardio exercises don’t forget to always tighten your abs, because you may not feel it then but tomorrow you will be feeling your gluts are a little sore.
Now that we are at the 9:00 minute mark the video again does a quick cardio exercise and then back into the Ab workouts. Only these Ab exercises will be done on your stomach. Some of these exercises are the Superman, and Rocketman. Laying on you stomach will give you time to work the backs of your abs, instead of just the front. Next in the video is another cardio burst. After that you will get back into the “V” exercises, only this time you will be facing the opposite way then you have been. You will look like your doing the down dog instead, with your face towards the ground.
3:00 minutes left! Now you are going to be shaky for these next exercises but that makes your Abs work even more. He starts you by doing the tabletop, if you fall that’s okay just get up and try it again. The next exercise is doing pyramids on all fours, so you’ll be a little more stable. Now 0:40 seconds left you end it with high knees and a slow jog. After that you get to stretch and cool down.
